Trainer: Emily Mottershead,   EMT First Aid and Lifeguard Training

Bryony attended a recent sessions:

“I did the 2 hour first aid training with Emily on Saturday afternoon. It was really enjoyable and also brilliantly informative. We had a lot of ‘hands-on’ practice, to really help us feel confident to practise first aid in an emergency situation with adults, children and babies. The group was small enough so that Emily could really cater to our individual needs I attended a similar course when my baby was first born, but the scenarios we learnt about then seemed somehow ‘unreal’. Now I have  a four and a six year old boy that get into plenty of scrapes, I listened with a completely fresh set of ears! As we worked through the session, I felt really panicked at some stages, that I would one day find myself faced with one of the situations we were dealing with, but at the end of the session, I walked out feeling confident that I would know what to do if the worst happened! “
